Can someone please give a great frosting recipe to make cookies like these? Any tips? I tried royal icing once with another cookie but it didn't taste that great.

I use Toba Garrett's glace. The recipe can found on this site. However, I don't think you can achieve the deep color found on the cookie you linked. But, it is yummy!

did you try the antonia74 recipe for royal icing? The cookies says it used that one. I have tried it on the past and its better than royal to me. Just wondering?

The glace one is good, stays soft and I got pretty bright colors for mine. Easy to make too!

Thanks. I'm going to try the glaze. If I outline in black, how long before I can flood with orange.
