Are you using BC or fondant?
I guess I should have asked that question, instead of assuming. Sorry
If you're using fondant, try ganache instead of BC as a crumbcoat. You can get very sharp corners with ganache - much better than BC.
And it helps to start with shaper corners by trimming your corners sharp on the cake.
