Just found out that my job is ending next week. I work in personal/ household services...so I really could have had more notice as it wasn't an economic decision. They've been thinking about making a change for a month and trying a different approach. One month? really? And it was too much of a hassle to let me know so I could have been applying for new jobs.
You think you have a good working relationship with people and they really care for you and have your back only to find out that isn't the case.

I'm really sorry to hear this too. There seems to be no loyalty to any employees anymore even loyal ones. My sis lost her job after 16 LOYAL years.
