Refrigerate Cake With Ganache?

If a cake is covered with ganache, can it sit out or should it be refrigerated?

I've only done ganache over whipped cream, so I refrigerate it. Something really great about eating cold chocolate on cake too!

I made a chocolate roll with ganache and it kept good at room temp, and I live in the most humid place of the USA..Florida ! LOL

I refrigerate mines because I use perishable fillings on every cake.
