Sure, you could do that. It'd give it a unique flavor, too!

You could make a jello-poke cake, too. There's instructions for that all over the web.

Loves me some Jell-o!

Definitely! The jello poke cake that knoxcop mentioned has always been my cake of choice when my mom makes me a b-day cake. It's great with whipped cream icing!

I have done a raspberry swirl cake for a wedding with raspberry filling and I took 1/3 of the white cake batter and mixed in jello to flavor it raspberry then dropped it to the white cake. I then swirled it with a knife. I got rave reviews from the wedding. The cake is absolutely delicious. I am sure that you could do it with any flavor of jello.

Thank you everyone. I am going to do it, then. I really like the idea of swirling it into the batter before baking.

In the summer, I will try the jello poke cake recipe. That sounds yummy, too. And I'll probably have my neice squealing with delight, too. Her Mommy's cake is going to have jello in it!
