How/Where do you find out about all of the cake show competitions, that I read about people entering on here?
I live outside of detroit and I never here of these.
We had one bridal show that I know of, however, it was for brides to be to get ideas and contacts.

I know there is a cake show in Austin Texas the 27 & 28 of this month. Look for local Cake decorating clubs in your area. Also go to the ICES web site and I believe they have listings for other shows. Hope this info helps. I am thinking of entering a tasting cake at my local show. I have never done this before so it should be interesting.

If you live in Metro-Detroit then you should be familiar with Michigan ICES. In March the mini-classes are going on in Dearborn and the cake competition will be held there as well. http://michiganices.com/
