Unintentional Gadget For Working On Dummies

You know how dummies try to escape when you're working on them? Well...I didn't plan this, it was a happy accident...
We've been developing our basement, including a wet bar. My husband cut a circle out of the countertop to install the small drop-in sink. I had a lightbulb moment when I saw the circle he'd cut out -- about 16" in diameter, thick chipboard topped with a layer of shiny laminate. I ran out to the garage, drilled a hole through the middle and pushed a 3" nail up through the hole. Ghetto fab tool to stop dummies sliding around when working on them! Works so well, even on tiny ones - today I fondanted a 4" with no trouble.
Anyway, I just thought I'd mention it in case it helps anyone else...
