This is a great rum cake which I've made many times with rave reviews, using Duncan Hines "Butter Recipe Golden" and Meyers's Dark Rum, and pecans at the bottom of the bundt pan.

I'm still looking for a great truly from scratch recipe. If anybody has one, I'm interested. Maybe Southern Living has one, but I haven't tried it...
I've never tried the above recipe with buttercream. But...maybe IMBC flavored with a bit of rum?
