Are there any really great inkscape tutorials available? I am wanting to import a birthday banner into inkscape (figured this out) and where it is outlined in black I want to change only the black outline to a different color and keep the inside white. Any tutorials to help me with this?

Check out YouTube - there are Inkscape and SCAL tutorials there that are good. The LearnDigital people are there as are many others.
