I am getting really frustrated with colouring fondant darker colours, it takes ages and then because I have kneeded the paste a lot to get the colour even, it tends to crack when it goes on the cake. icon_sad.gif
I think a quicker and easier way to do it would be with an airbrush? I like all the airbrushing techniques, fading from one colour to another, for cakes with sky or sea backgrounds for example, I love the way that looks! I have been looking at airbrushes on the net, and it looks like the decent kits are about £200....wow. then I came accross this one

its a much more reasonable price, but would it be a false economy? I know noting about airbrushes, I would love someone to advise me on wether a cheap model would be ok for getting an even base colour on my icing?
