Okay, a few days ago I posted about a red velvet cake for my mom for a shower, for her coworker. Big change of plans!!

She calls me this morning and asks if I can make a pregnant Betty Boop cake! How in the world do I do this? I was planning on making a royal icing transfer already of betty boop...but a pregnant one!

I've looked online for pictures of Betty Boop and of course none of them is. Anyone have any ideas.

I was going to trace a picture because I can not draw free hand. If anyone is talented in this, could you please help?

Well, here is my Betty Boop cake.

Basic yellow pound cake with buttercream frosting. Royal icing Betty image. Blocks and pins are not edible. Delivering to my mother tomorrow for party Tuesday.

I sent her a picture over my phone. We are meeting halfway tomorrow, mom lives in Maryland, and will give it to her. The cake is for Tuesday.

Hi...

I made my Betty Boop 3D... why don't you model it and then you can add a belly to her? Here is the pic....
