Hi,
I want to make a birthday cake, sponge cake, buttercream icing and covered with marshmallow fondant. How long will the cake last once fully assembled and not cut.
This is my first time making such a cake so any help whatsoever would be great.

Hi JD, the shelf life of the sponge cakes that I make is 7 days. I bake the cake two days ahead. For example if the cake is needed for saturday, I bake the cake on thursday. Torte and fill thursday night. Friday morning crumbcoat with bc and cover with fondant and decorate.
