Ive just made my first batch of Marshmallow fondant and wow does it taste and feel great icon_biggrin.gif

I split my dough into 2 halfs as i need 2 shades of blue. I tried colouring one to dark blue but couldnt get it past baby blue no matter how much colour i mixed in icon_sad.gif

Im having to use liquid food colouring as my local supermarkets dont do anything else and i left it too late to order online icon_rolleyes.gif

Its only a cake for famliy so it doesnt need to be perfect but would like it to be as perfect as possible icon_lol.gif

Any tips on how to get a darker blue?
Thanks icon_biggrin.gif

Whenever I need a dark colour like black or red, I mix the gelpaste colour (lots of it) at the stage when the marshmallows are melted and right before mixing in the icing sugar. I find it easier to mix the colour this way. But I have also done it also by kneading into the paste, it just takes longer and a lot of colour.
