Pouring With Venuance Pearls

I'm taking my first try with venuance pearls. I melted them in the microwave but the sugar hardened so fast I barely had time to pour it in the molds. Am I doing something wrong? Please help!!

Do not use your microwave. I know the package says to. I always melt on the stove top. Everyone has a different microwave that heats at all different temps.

Thank you, I will give that a try. I was also reading somewhere about melting in the oven (in the mold). I think I'll try that as well.
