Beer Foam?

I am making a 3-d beer bottle cake and would love to have it look like foam running down the sides of the cake. Any ideas on how to do this? I am stumped!! The cake is for later this weekend!

In one of Debbie Browns books she uses sugarpaste/fondant to make foam bubbles in a bath, same effect as beer foam.
She says just get some white sugarpaste and stipple it with a metal pan scourer, not tried it myself but worth a try maybe

I used stable whipped cream in my beer mug. Worked great and was easy to get that drippy effect.
