Be careful if you make one of these if the pipe is bent to much your cake will slide right off...we made one and the bend did not look to be that big but the cake just started sliding...gonna make another one and hope it is better...but I do love it I did a cake 10" bottom 9x9 square middle and 7" top

I have the PVC parts and boards but I only have a question: How is the last tier build? I mean, I know it has a 1" hole in it but how its the male coupler adjusted in it? does the board has a coupler in the inside so u can hand screw the male coupler (different from the other boards) or the board or maybe it has a flange attached under the board (but then the board won't be flat to the surface)? would like any help. I've been looking for pictures on that bottom tier but havn't found any. Thanks
