I'm making ice from knox blox, but the idea of unflavored jello on my cake sounds.... gross. what can i add to make it have some flavor? [/b]

I would think you could use drops of the flavored oils.

Have you ever tried poured sugar ice? It is super easy. I will see if I can find the link.

i found a good recipe! thank goodness.

2 ½ cups white grape juice
½ cup cold water
2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin

Sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and, without touching it, let it soften for 5 to 10 minutes. Heat a cup of the grape juice in a small pan until very hot and stir the softened gelatin into it. Stir this mixture over a low heat until the gelatin dissolves. Remove from the heat and stir in the rest of the grape juice.

Pour jello into the bottom of a clear jello mold and refrigerate

When I did it for my cooler cake, I just substituted white grape juice for the water. They came out that same slightly yellow color, but worked just fine! icon_smile.gif
