Noah's Ark Animal Help?

I am in the middle of getting everything ready for a Noah's ark cake, i am looking for tips on the figures? I've never made figures before so wondering if anyone has any advice?

Check out Aine2's articles and photos, she provides lots of different gumpaste/fondant figure techniques. (I think she's on YouTube too?)

There's also a whole category in the galleries called "3D Figures" where you'll find lots and lots of help.

If you can borrow a book from the library, Debbie Brown has how to make a Noah's Ark with figures in one of her books. Also, claymodelling books/sites etc can be helpful for building shapes.
