Question About Bagged Fillings

Can anyone tell me if the Bavarian Cream filling that you can buy in a bag
and Boston Cream Pie filling are the same? I have a customer that wants the latter and I've never made it.

they taste exactlly the same to me........like a vanilla custard. It's the same as the custard you get inside the bavarian creme/boston cream doughnuts!
