Hi!

Does anyone know the "proper" name for those socks/stockings that you wear with flats or dress shoes that only covers the same part of your feet that the shoes do? They pretty much look like ballet slippers.....WAY shorter than ankle socks. I'm trying to find some to buy online but it makes it kind of hard to search for them if I don't know what they're called icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks!

ok so there's a lady that I work with who is very fashionable (and boy does she know it too) and i saw her wearing these "footlets" yesterday and of course i didn't want to stroke the ego by asking her where she got them......

I just figured i'd look them up online and find them easy......NOT!

And yes, I have searched booties, footies, steps, footlets, sock footlets etc, and I come up with minimal results icon_cry.gif All I find is nude, black, and white. The ones this lady was wearing were thicker like socks and they were brown with pink and orange flowers on them, almost like a Vera Bradley print! This is driving me crazy!!!! Ahhh!

It's like a footlet sock.....and pretty! icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks for your suggestions. Footlets did pull up the right item, but very few sites had them and they all had just one and it was sheer and came in the 3 plain colors. Where are the fun ones!?!??!?

Anyone else have further suggestions?
I'll keep looking!!! icon_rolleyes.gif

Try "no show sock" - I found some Ed Hardy designs with this search. You might also try "liner sock"

My daughter calls them "no shows". I kept forgetting that, so I call them "no-see-'ems" (like the bug). Drives her crazy.
