So I have never bought the sams icing, but love what they use on their cakes. This week I finally bought the huge thing of icing...tried it and I swear it taste old. It smells fine and the date says it's good until March...anyone else have this issue?

It should look white. The only way I can describe the taste is being a bit dense. After a few months the color seems to fade a bit and doesn't look as white and fluffy. Other than the lid being a pain to get off, it should last the entire 3 months if kept in a cool place.
