Anybody have any suggestions on what shape pan (s) would I use to make a head shape? I am planning on making something similar to this for my husbands 40th birthday.
Also if anybody can think of something fun to write onto the tombstone?

As always thanks for everybodys help and suggestions.

for that i would use a large square sheet cake pan and just carve to the size you want. maybe google head stones (even try Martha Stewart web site under Halloween) to get ideas of shapes and/or funny over the hill saying... good luck!

Unfortunately i can't see a sheet cake giving me the roundness needed for the head of the zombie.

Do you think round cakes stacked in descending size topped with a half ball might do the trick?
