Does the nose have to dry before putting it onto the snowmans face? Or will it be ok to dry in place. TIA I figure its better to ask before I mess it up

Again, I made the mistake of putting it on too soon - it was still sticky and when I tried to adjust, it smeared orange on my snowman's white face! I'd definitely wait. The carrot nose also turned out a little longer and heavier than I had thought and my dowel was too short!

when i make a snowman.. i put the nose on when i make it.. never had a problem.. i use strickly wilton fondant. or wilton fondant and g/p mix. 50/50 mixture.. works wonderful.. on youtube. anine2.. a c/cer shows how to make a great snowman.. etc.. hth

Yeah, my nose was 50/50 gumpaste fondant and it took a long time to dry!
