hi

wonder if anyone has a real good recipe for petit four dough, jah have tried very possible but will be no good ..

I use thin sheets of cake for my petit fors....

I just use my regular cake recipe and bake on half sheet pans. I've never had a problem with yellow or chocolate cake.

What do you guys put in between the layers?
What do you coat the outsides with?
What is their shelf life?

jam or a schmear of sleeved filling
poured fondant
not long
