I just did a google search for "polar express bell", and look under images. It show several bells. I would make a ball, somewhat elongated, make a criss-cross, poke 2 holes (at the end of each cross marks) from flat end of a skewer or something flat, then maybe a small band of fondant or gp around the center. HTH
