This time of year is stressful enough (Christmas and Michigan winter) without something further going wrong. My kitchen ceiling started to leak and I determined it to be from the outside where the roof met another roof area. I didn't have any roof tar so I used the next best thing....FONDANT! Leftover from my son's XBox cake. It held for a few days while our weather cleared a bit for me to get up there and tar it. No caulking gun for me...I used one of my pastry bags! It was pliable and came out smooth as buttercreme!
Roof is fixed and now I can relax....till the next project.

Who said Cake people can't do it all! Hope you all enjoyed the chuckle.
