Is there a technique for doing stripes on a round cake, meeting in the middle like this:

I can't work out how I'm going to make my stripes converge evenly in the centre. 
Any help? Please!!

You did a nice job sugarandslice. I don't think I could do it I always have trouble making things straight even with a ruler.
