I need some help coming up with my own birthday cake. It is Jan. 2nd. My aunt's bd is Jan. 4th and we will be celebrating it together at a local restaurant. I really want it to be special, since I really haven't celebrated a birthday since my mother and brother passed away 2 years ago. I think I am now ready to do something for myself. I can't ask my boys for ideas, well cause you know they are boys. Thanks!

I think what I would do is search CC and find a cake that I've always wanted to make and never had a chance to make and do that.

I'm really happy that you are ready to do something special for yourself. You go girl! and for the idea, why don't you try your "Yellow Dream"? May be it is the perfect time to make your 'dream' come true.
