Hi,

My Niece is turning 1 on jan 22nd and I wanted to make something different for her. I'm not sure if this is done before but I haven't seen anything as yet. I wanted to make something on the lines of an over the hill cake, basically marking all her milestones before she reaches 1year. Things like her first smile ( n maybe have a little smiley fave next to it) her first crawl ( n a small baby crawling near it)... etc etc. I want to make it colourful and bright !

Im kinda lost on how to go about it as in not making look like a boring cake with a road reaching a hill but something more fun !!!!

Any ideas on how to brighten the cake... and ofcourse on if its a good idea or not ???

Regards,
Arwa

How about a cake like a suitecase with different photos of her from maybe her sonar photo and make a collage of all her photos and print it on eatable paper. You can call this cake her lifes journey up to 1 year.

Just a suggestion I made some suitcases for older people, I'm posting a photo for you. I can not see why not do it for an one year old. Remember you can do it in bright colours to go with her age!!

Hope it helps!

Thanx for your ideas !!! Surina, my sister doesn't like the idea of having my niece's pics on the cake and then cutting it... so tht would be out... but suggestions are always welcome !!!
