Silver Gel Color

I need to know how to make silver or grey using gel colors. I know I can use luster dust and vodka but I have to huge cakes to paint silver.

The slightest hint of black - maybe? Are you painting entire cake? Wouldn't you rather colour the fondant/BC gray? Sorry if this is not much help, but I'm sure someone will come up with a solutions for you icon_smile.gif

The only way to acheive a metallic color, is to use paint on luster dust or air-brush the cake with Luck's silver shimmer http://www.countrykitchensa.com/catalog/product.aspx?T=1&productId=631910
