Need A Cheap Way To Preserve Fall Color Of Leaves

Lived in TX for 11 years now and rarely get to see fall leaf colors. This year I have a few trees that are spectacular.
I would love to save them for references.
Any ideas out there?

We used to press them between wax paper and iron when we were kids. I think whatever you do, the colors will fade
