Huge Promo... Need Help!

I am doing 2 different HUGE promo deals next weekend. I need some ideas to do. What has worked for you at promotional events? One event is the Christmas Arts Gallery and the other event is our city's Annual DownTown Christmas Party. I'm super excited because this is exposure I could never dream of getting on my own! But I don't know what works the best.

Mini cupcakes? Cookies? Truffles? etc. Should I put up a few fake cakes to show off designs? I won't be at these events just my business cards and the cakes/confections.

Are you getting paid for the product or is it a donation? That would make a big difference in what I would be sending!

I would do some fake cakes and some pretty cupcakes, mini cupcakes, cookies, if you do pastries I would include it too.
