Hi- DD and I are just starting to put together out Strawberry Shortcake cake. We want to put a second layer of fondant on - like a table skirt look. Do you have to put something between the layers to stick them together?
you can use one of many different items...just brush on a small amount of water/gumpaste sugar solution/piping gell on the base layer before laying over the "table cloth"
