Wait, wait, buttercream that goes on smooth. I use IMBC, it's not supposed to crust. Okay, my glass is raised. icon_biggrin.gif

I so look forward to the Christmas Holiday for so many reasons...our gift from God, family, ornaments, and time to just sit back and just "be." I also especially love having fudge and eggnog for breakfast! I know, I know, it's not the breakfast of champions, but it's so yummy!
I just found a recipe for fudge eggnog!!! Can life be any better? THE best of both worlds has just collided for me. Yippee! Have any of you tried it?
(Sorry, I just had Dr. Pepper and I'm a little wired.)

LaBellaFlor,

I do almost all the cookies myself for the Tea. I have a 9 yo Daughter that has been helping since she was around 4-5 but my mother never cooks and my grandmother is in an apartment so can't really do any of them. So I take it all on. Everyone loves it, so it is so worth the work. I take the extras to the nieghbors for their gifts. I think they like them more then anything i could buy. The kids in the nieghborhood come to meet us when we walk to give them out in 1900's clothing. Lots of fun.

I love this time of year too! Love spending time in the kitchen making cookies and candies and having a diet coke and divinity for breakfast. I love the time I get to spend with my family or my husband's family. It is just a great time of year!

Probably more than what is in the divinity. icon_smile.gif I figure the diet coke calories cancel the divinity calories. Right? icon_biggrin.gif

Now that I've got some dosh (cash, in UK lingo), I can get my shopping done ... so NOW I have that fuzzy feeling!

As for the egg nog ... add some Kalhua and I'm in! (My dad used to put Bailey's in his.) Or orange juice to the champagne for a mimosa.

(No, we aren't a family of alcoholics ... the only time I enjoy a beverage of a sociable nature is on my summer vacation and Xmas - and only if I'm not driving.) icon_wink.gif
