This would save me $$ instead of using the Wal-Mart brand with trans-fat. Not even sure how would I store it (I think its a 50lb box), but was curious if anyone was using it.

I do not buy it in that large of a quantity but yes, I use Crisco vegetable solid shortening, the white one, not the "butter" yellow one.

costco sells 50lb boxes of shortening? ive never seen it, is it something you have to ask for?

Out here its beside the large cans of Crisco. It caught my eye because it still had the trans fat
