What do you use to "glue" gumpaste/fondant pieces to the side of buttercream cakes?

I like piping gel. But anything wet should work. Vanilla extract will also work. icon_smile.gif

Thanks - I was thinking piping gel. It's 50/50 gumpaste & fondant rather thick - I'm a little worried about the weight of them.
