Silver Fondant?

How do u color fondant silver? I bought the americolor silver sheen airbrush color & tried to color white fondant, I kept mixing it in, but I couldnt get it to get silver. Can I do anything besides airbrushing it to get it silver? Thanks

Hi.What I do is add a touch of black color to white fondant which then becomes grey.When I finish covering the cake ,I brush the whole cake with silver luster dust to add a touch of sparkle.HTH icon_smile.gif

i just mix silver luster dust with lemon extract and apply with a paint brush! works for me!

I make the fondant grey color and then use the Americolor sivler sheen. Works for me.
