Is this easy to use for practicing with fondant?

Are you asking about cake dummies - styro made specifically to use for cake forms? Then yes, reasonably simple.

Yes they are easy to use, just make sure you round off the top edge so your fondant doesn't tear. You can spritz with water to get the fondant to stick & if you need use a little piping gel to get the bottom edge to stick. HTH icon_smile.gif

I just covered and decorated my first cake dummy today! I tried the whole water thing and it didn't work too well so I covered with a thin layer of royal icing and it was pretty simple! Finished product looked great and it was alot easier to practice on than dealing with a cake!

I used to practice on the back of my pans. Styrofoam was too expensive.
