Does anyone make doughnuts? What do you use for fillings and what is a good recipie? my dh wants me to make some for hunting season (which is less than 2 weeks away) He likes lemon custard some jelly filled. I would like a basic recipie that I could just use different toppings and fillings.

ha that's too funny i just posted a question about making donuts (as i have the sudden urge to out of nowhere last night) and then found your post...............deleting mine and coming over to join this one lol
P.S Just wondering if anyone knows what the glaze is made of that they brush onto donuts? Not like an icing just like a clearish glaze i think, is it just water and sugar and do they brush it on before or after baking?
