I had a cake iced and fondanted cake stay good for 1/2 on the counter...... so i think your timeline will be fine
Refrigerating cakes doesn't keep them fresh... And it actually causes bread to stale more quickly:

(However, it does keep cakes with perishable fillings and/or frostings from spoiling.)
A cake baked and decorated on Weds. should be fine until Friday. ![]()
