Can anyone tell me if there is anything different that you can or have to do on Facebook to get your business out there so people see it? I have mine out there but I have been told that there is more or something else to do so people see that it is a business but was not told what it was to do. Any and all help is appreciated.

You can do a fan page. That is what I've done for my cake business. Then you can suggest your page to friends and then they can suggest it to their friends, and so on and so forth. I've gotten a few cake orders from facebook. Its a great networking tool.
I agree! I created a group which i then invited my current fb friends to join. The group probably has double the numbers i started with. They are then able to write messages and view pics of my cakes without being in your own personal circle of fb friends. Good luck
