Sorry if its been asked but i could not find it. I am doing my first buttercream transfer this week and it seems simple enough, my only question is does it have to be put in a completely flat surface? I am doing a transformers cake and im putting the face logo on the top of the cake where it is obviously completely flat, no problem, but I want the word Transformers as well but wanted it around the cake. Would this work or will it crack and fall off because it is on the side?

It should work fine! You might have to put a little icing under it if your frosting is crusted and then press it to the side when it is not right out of the freezer so it doesn't crack. Good Luck!
