I'm trying to make a teddy bear shaped cake and I want the paws and belly to be tan and the rest of the bear to be brown. What is the easiest way to make tan frosting?

just put a tiny tiny amount of brown coloring in, or just a little of your darker brown icing, mix. you can always add more color if it's not tan enough icon_smile.gif

I would mix a little yellow and brown. I did that to make an ivory/tan
for "spaghetti noodles" and it came out perfect!

I agree with either idea above but remember this...as with some other icing colors, brown tends to dry a lot darker than it looks in the bowl so only use a small amount or it will dry brown and not tan.
