Oh well done! They look really great, I don't think that they look bumpy, and like Ibmoser said once they have the decoration on, you tend to look at that rather than whats behind them. I think you did great!

So I found a round bottomed tin today at my sisters and have used that, thinking I might be able to use cakes from that tin on top of regular fairy cakes, but Ive just got them out the oven and well....not looking hopeful, they aren't deep enough, I dont think. So I will have to order that wilton pan, which Im doing right now!!

What size did you use for yours? My pan was about a 3" diameter. I can't imagine working with anything smaller!

I used the Wilton mini-ball pan and ended up with spheres about 3" in diameter. I really want an individual portion, and, to me, the 3" balls are just too much. And I looooooove cake icon_lol.gif .
