I recently did a search - some restaurant supply stores sell very inexpensive boards and boxes - but you have to buy a case at a time, which can be 100-250 items. As a hobby baker from home - I can't do that.
Did find a couple of reasonable places for smaller quantities and reasonable shipping. One is www.brpboxshop.com and the other is www.plasticcontainercity.com - but neither is really any less expensive than my local Walmart or Hobby Lobby, but they do have wider selections than my local stores. I have not purchased from either of these stores - I just have been searching too.
