Can I Cover A Cake That Has Smbc In Fondant?

It seems like the SMBC if very popular with CCers so I am excited to give it a try. Can I use it under fondant safely?

I do it all the time. make sure to put your cake in the fridge first to harden the SMBC before covering with fondant.
