How Much Fondant?

Hi everyone!

It's my first time working on a Doll cake icon_eek.gif Any advice on how much fondant will I need? Does 2pounds sound right? icon_confused.gif

I cannot imagine that you would even need that much, but if you are buying it premade, then, yes, I'd say buy the 2lb. bucket. I just covered a 10" cake and an 8" cake and did not use a full 2lb bucket of Satin Ice. You will have left over fondant, I'm sure, but it holds well if you close it back up tightly. HTH!
