I am wanting to make red velvet cupcakes that I saw on Throwdown with Bobby Flay (Auntie Em's) and it calls for 1 1/2 cup Veg. Oil....I am out...is there anything I can substitute for it?? I have tried searching and came up with applesauce, crisco, sour cream will these work?

I often use cream cheese instead of oil. Applesauce is nice, too.
