AI am so glad you posted this and everyone has commented, it had been driving me crazy for the past couple months!!! I was so confused, they are MADE FOR MELTING, how could they seize up on me like this? I've been using them for ages. They also made my candy clay LIQUEFY, I was in tears one night this fall when I had a greasy puddle on my hands instead of my usual candy clay.

I will try the other brands you've all mentioned. So glad it's not just me!

I used to have problems with candy melts too, but I recently bought these ceramic bowls made for candy melting by Wilton, and the consistency of the chocolate is amazing!! It keeps the chocolate warm up to 1 hour! Hope it helps.
