How Do I Make The Perfect Tiffany Box Color?

Hi, I need to make a tiffany Box and I wanted to now if there's different colors that would work the best.

i did a search about 2 weeks ago and came up with...sky blue and aqua mixed together

Thank you so much. Do you think it maters what brand I use. Is it better to use the wilton gels or the americolor? THANK YOU!

I made one recently and I only used Wilton teal mixed with white fondant. It was perfect.

oh. i had it wrong. here is what bob wrote: 5 drops of teal blue color and one drop sky blue (its teal, not aqua as i originally wrote)

I like the amounts of coloring listed - I'll have to make a Tiffany Box cake next October after I do the Nike Women's Marathon - trying to push myself up from 1/2 marathons (race walking, not running) - instead of a finisher medal, they give you a Tiffany necklace presented to you by a man in a tux with the Tiffany Box on a silver platter! I am doing this for my charity - Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and I have to raise close to $5000 to be able to participate. I have to decide in April whether I do the full or 1/2.

I'm thinking that I want to do the lid and sides in advance and let them dry but I'm thinking the color will change once it dries. I think it's going to be hard to have the right color.

I did it and the color was so close to the actual tiffany box. THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL YOUR HELP!

I made one Tifanny cake, wich is in my photos, and I used teal plus sky blue and of course is a good idea to have something from tiffany, (even check the web page) to compare your colour and tiffany colour.
